Dr. Jason Joice enjoyed working with his hands. So when he went to medical school, he naturally looked for a specialty that would allow him to continue that type of hands-on work. His choice to be an orthopaedic surgeon has been one that has allowed him to combine his medical knowledge with the practical skills he learned at home.
He graduated as the valedictorian from Locust Grove High School in 1993. After graduation he attended the University of Oklahoma in Norman. Dr. Joice graduated from OU in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. He then attended medical school in Oklahoma City at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Dr. Joice completed his residency at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned the position of Chief Resident during his final year at SLU.
to offer orthopaedic services to the area’s citizens. He lives in Pryor with his wife and two children. He currently serves as the team physician for the Pryor Tigers. During his free time, Dr. Joice enjoys playing golf at the Pryor Creek Golf Course and working out at the Pryor Rec Center.
